when i hit the brake sounds like the caliper was loose/moving but i checked it out and it's bolted solid not loose.. so is there suppose to be shims ? could that be problem , i moved the tire updown side to side an it didnt move so that's good news, if there's suppose to be shims what do they look like and how they suppose to go. not sure with this car

front suspension been done as far as brake rotors, some bushings, but maybe they left out a shim or something, kinda seems like the brake pad maybe hitting the caliper when i brake hard to say, all that was done long ago but still in good shape

The shims would be already installed on the brake pads from the manufacturer. Are the caliper bolts/pins lubricated? Is there any anti-squeal compound on the back of the brake pads?

no when i redo the brakes i'll do that like i always do but.. the pads on there now are good so but i think my shims are missing only thing i can think of, sucks

another problem..?

driving around today and brake pedal seemed to loose some compression.. the pedal goes almost to the floor, never had that happen , so checked brake fluid didnt have hardly any on oneside filled it and still no strong brake , it's pouring bad out side so cant see if anything has a leak... but didnt have this problem lastnight driving.. cause?

i think i just have to bleed the brakes now since there was hardly an fluid in the 1st resivor so i'm sure some air got in there,i checked the fluid when i got the car in dec and it wasnt low so kinda quick for it to use it up already

You got a leak somewhere. You said the first(towards the front of the car) reservior was empty? I'm willing to bet your noise was in your back brakes and quite possibly you just pushed a piston out of a wheel cylinder. Look on the backside of your rear tires for brake fluid.
