I just installed a brand new set of raybestos drilled slotted rotors and raybestos semi- metallic brake pads and when i first go to drive you can hear a rubbing sound coming from the brakes as if they are rubbing on the rotors without me even applying the brakes....APPRECIATE ANYONE HELPING ME WITH THIS ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!

I think rule of thumb is 20 complete stops from 35 mph to completely burnish the pads to the new rotors. But you will probably hear that noise until they are used to the rotors.

I run ECB's and they do have break in instructions and if those are not followed the pads could be ruined so I hope your's don't come with the same instructions if you didn't break them in....another thing with those rotors keep an eye out for stress cracks branching out from the holes. They are caused by uneven heating and cooling. I had that problem with mine so I'm just going to go with slotted rotors and plus with the pads these days the gases created by the braking isn't a problem they use to have with the older pads...

i know that every time i get new pad or rotors theres a break in period that you need to be gental with the brakes, not following closely, giving PLENTY of room to stop. because there is a coating on the rotors and i think the pads too that needs to be worn off before you can go crazy with them.
