So i recently picked up a dual piston calipers and spindles from a 2000 2wd Blazer. I have read it is a direct bolt on. I also have B body spindles that i bought a few years back. I know for those i would need expensive aftermarket upper control arms. Other then the cost what is a better upgrade? I am just trying to get feedback from people who have done either upgrade.
Thanks

i do know the 78 capricehas longer spindles whcich would help with caster and camber gain so it would help handling and i believe they might have bigger single piston breaks

I've used both set-ups on the same car and can tell you that the braking is excellent with both. IMHO, the camber gain with the 12" brakes wasn't worth making the bumpsteer worse. I'll be sticking with the dual-piston ZQ8 Blazer parts.

The 12" set-up widened the front track a bit. With the blazer parts you should be back to stock measurments.

oh ok mint thank you very much ...one more question what about hight was it higher of the ground with the blazer setup from stock ?

Thanks for the reply's. I have doing some research on the blazer swap and it seems it also can be upgraded with vette calipers, rotors, and pads with a bracket. So i am going to do the swap and sell the b-body spindles. The aftermarket arms are a little to much for me.

No, nycutlass, the Blazer swap didn't affect ride height in any way.
