The wire for my tach broke off at the filter near the end of it where the wire comes out, can this be fixed? or do they make or sell an aftermarket tach filter and wire?

Is it the stock GP tach? if so it must be the white wire that is fed into your negative plug on the coil next to the distributor. Id suggest trying to get the clock to put in the tachs spot and getting an aftermarket Tach like the SunPro II and mounting it under your dash, its VERY easy and can be done very quickly and looks awesome.
