Basicly what I'm wondering is if you can get a Oldsmobile heat shield for the hood kinda like the Buick Grandnational has???

You'll have to do some hunting around with G body parts suppliers. If that doesn't work, then maybe there's an Olds hood insulator for another car line that could be adapted to your Cutlass. And if that doesn't work, you may be looking at making something up to get the look you want. Good luck.
Are you talking about getting a underhood insulator with the Olds rocket on it (sort of like the GN's Turbo 6 symbol?) or are you looking for just the regular insulator that was plain and black? If you are looking for one with a rocket then you may have to make one but if you are just looking for the insulator then all G-Bodies should have had them. Both my Cutlass sedans(87 and 85) had it and i saw a few Cutlass coupes in the local junk yard with them

I bought a New old stock gm one for my Cutlass a few weeks ago, it was $125 to my door. I could not find one with the olds symbol on it.

I've also seen 2 different kinds of these underhood insulators. On my friends 83 H/O's, it has a light colored one that looks thin but sturdy and seems to contour around the hood bracing. The one on my car was kind of thick, darker colored, and didn't contour to the hood bracing.
I'm just looking for a plain black one. OEM if posible and I want it brand new mine is all ragadey.
