I will be starting the swap here in about an hour

Sold my Buick 350/TH350 so I will be pulling that out starting here about an hour.

SBC going in 8)

Well the Buick is out and gone! Still have some extensive engine bay cleaning to do. Got the heater/ac box removed and all unnecessary wiring that was still in the car. Still have to remove the old exhaust and then I shall be ready for the drop in 😛

Well got the engine pulled from my donor vehicle today, 1973 Chevy C10 8)

I noticed that the transmission is a long tailshaft TH350, does anybody know what length driveshaft I will need for my car?

I run a longtail in my bu, but I also have an 8.5 rear, my driveshaft (joint center to joint center) is 48 inches, which is what some of the early and mid 70's f-bodies used, (got lucky no cutting). So if you run a 7.5 plan for about 1 inch longer.

The driveshaft made it to http://www.driveshaftshop.com/ in Salisbury, NC today. They'll be chopping it down tomorrow morning. They measure from tailshaft seal to center of rear joint, mine was 49" so it sounds like it would probably be 48" center joint to center joint.

I took the Regal out for a drive last night! Its a little loud but a whole lot faster than it was with that Buick 350
