can you give me a guesstimate of what the tail lights will cost for a '81 cutlass and will they cascade ?

I have now built a prototype in the Brake lens to my Cutlass. Once my boards arrive, I will build the final product and install it! 😀

I cut the lens with a hacksaw. works great.

The lowers light is a stock incondescent bulb

The top is 16 LEDs on 1 board, but I plan on adding more

do you mean a quote for me to build them? or a quote on building supplies?

either one, i would rather wait until i have a finished product so that i know what works and what doesn't. i don't even know if my flashers are going to work yet. LEDs don't pull enough amps.

Another idea for the other style tails (with the chrome down the middle) Make one side the brake light the other the turn signal, nut still so they both come on with the brake if you know what I mean.

Looks very good!

I'll have to get ahold of a set first, but it sounds like a good idea.

i just wish i had a way to cascade the lights... 🙁

go to instructables.com they may have a thread on how to make them cascade

I've seen that video before, thats why I suggeested that

Very nice work!

That does look pretty cool. Although visually, I think the turn indicators should have been on the outside of the tail lights instead of the inner. When I look at them in operation, I think the opposite of what they are indicating. If the right turn signal is on, it looks like your wanting to turn left because its to the inside of the tail light.
