Looks like the wagons getting sprayed next week. The one thing that I forgot about was the bumper fillers. I'll probably get both front and rear. Are they all the same or is there one brand thats better than the rest ? The middles seem to be in decent shape but should I get them all as a set ?

Might as well get them all. You never know. And if the originals hold up, you got spares. Or vice versa.

There are lots of different options depending on your budget. I prefer the fiberglass ones and have used those on my Regal. If I were you, I'd take a look at gbody parts dot com and look at all of the different options..

I got fiberglass ones off eBay a few years ago. I replaced front and back myself and everything lined up great. No issues yet and the car has hydraulics so its subject to a bit more stress than the average gbody.

Ditto on the fiberglass

Are the bumper fillers you referred to in your post of May, 2016 the the pieces, left and right, between the bumper and the body? Inset in the body so as to be flush with the body? Trying to make sure I'm referring to the parts I need by the proper name.

Thanks for the reply. I quit drag racing the Malibu wagon, and so haven't been doing much with it except driving it and showing it. Restoration finished. I'm getting ready to sell it now - I have one car too many (Suburban, '60 Chrysler 300F and 2010 Challenger ST8). Need to get rid of one of them. If you know of anyone looking for a ProStreet/Strip wagon, let me (or them) know, and I'll send complete info. It's a great car...
