Finally got around to putting all the collected pieces together. As alot of people know, the S10 spindle assembly is identical to the G body spindle assembly. Using these spindles will not alter the front end geometry. I'm using a spindle assembly off a 2000 S10 that had the dual piston caliper. The Corvette calipers came off a 2000. This swap was pretty much straight forward. Mount the adaptor bracket on, then mount the C5 Corvette caliper assemby on.
Next task at hand will be to adapt S10 rear discs on my 8.5 rear. Don't see much of a problem there but trying to figure out what to do with adapting the S10 emergency brake cable.
For the master cylinder and proportioning valve, I plan to use one off a 1981 Eldorado. Apparently these cars came equipped with 4 wheel disc brakes. I believe both items should be just a straight swap.
