Just looking for a little advice. What would be the best cam to use in a 77 stock Olds 350. It is bolted to a TH350 and will be using heddman headers and will upgrade to 3.08 rear gears. I was gonna go with the Crane 803902, but not sure if I can get this cam anymore since Crane went under. Looking for an equivelent of this. Not looking for a race car, just a good driver with a little more power.

When I was looking for a roller cam for my 86' Olds 307, I was about to buy the Melling MTO-1. Unfortuneately, it turned out to be a non-roller cam for earlier SBO engines like your 350.

I don't know much about cams, but the MTO-1 is supposed to be a "performance upgrade" cam that is "good on the highway", "provides better acceleration (at a certain RPM)", and "economy". I was finding them on eBay cheap, one was $66 with free shipping. You can find the specs on the Melling website (I have no idea how to interpret them) if you want to look into it further.

Hopefully someone else has more knowledge of cams and can give you better advice.
