can anyone get me a report on carfax.com?

I'm looking at buying a 2002 yukon and I want a history report on it but I dont want to pay 40 bucks for A report and I dont see a need to buy 5 reports or unlimited reports as I dont buy vehicles very often.

If anyone could help me I sure would appreciate it.

I find Carfax a joke unless you live i city . Most here go to local shops to get work done. I see cars that only have dealer repairs listed for first couple years . As example my 99 Malibu has had new heads , a complete front clip due to deer damage . And none of it shows on it. Just state inspections

I have just looked at a spotless 06 F250 with 100000 miles and state inspection was all that showed . And I know it had been roled over at one time .

I guess to just know some of what has been done to it. Plus, it's a good thing to use for negotiation. It's worked for me on a few occasions. Saving over 1.5k each vehicle.

CarFax pointed out multiple owners of a vehicle I was looking to purchase. The dealer insisted it was a one owner local trade-in. Half a dozen different title/registration locations (in different states) proved the dealer was just trying to make a sale. I know CarFax and others are NOT all-inclusive. However it has helped me steer clear of issues more than once.

you are exactly right. unless a repair is reported by an insurance company or an emissions test/ state inspection was done it won't be stated
