355 gen 1 small block, 194/150 valve VORTEC heads, RPM airgap intake, 1 5/8 in headers. TH350 trans 4.10 and sometimes 4.30 gear Ford 8.8 ( if the brackets I've designed hold..LOL ) rearend. Car runs no power accessories except power brakes. Occasional street driven bracket racer 1/8 mile.( thats why I dont run 4.56 gears) I have read everything I can find on Vortec heads and such but I can't figure out what hydraulic FLAT tappet camshaft will work best for me and my combination. Vortec heads have been modified for up to 510 lift but I know the design calls for what I would think is a somewhat unique cam grind. HELP!
