Can we clear up "Binding" once and for all?

I replaced all the rear control arm bushings with poly many years ago. That got rid of wheel hop and definitely stiffened it up. I really liked it. Then as more of the car was upgraded and I started to really push it, I realized the rear was very twitchy. Stick, then suddenly let go and try to pass me. Now mind you I'm no suspension expert. About this time people started talking about bind etc with all poly bushings. I replaced my upper control arms with some double adjustable units with a rod end on the body side. I could not believe how much better the car drove instantly. Smoother and it didn't suddenly lose grip while in a corner. I do not race my car, just aggressive street driving... moral of the story, don't do all poly bushings in the rear.
