They got a different versio than offered in America?
Yup. A 350 4barrell, 4 speed with Hurst shifter, and a Grand Prix dashboard.

Canadian Cutlasses had the sbc and no CCC thru 86. Pretty big differences to me.

I know they had them but I have only seen couple Canadian cutlass have a SBC had several when they were only couple years old . The others well after 5 years things get swapped.
I do know of a 86 442 with no miles still in a dealer collection with a 305 in it . Its a off the truck shove in a garage car .

My Cutlass was built in Canada and I now others were built in America. Did they use different parts at either location? Like better suspension, brakes etc.......?

Do you mean Canadian built cars for the U.S. Market? Or difference in spec between the two for their own country?

I'm sure that each market selected parts that would meet their emission or country regulations. I would think the quality and parts are very similar. Unless there were options we didn't have stateside.

The Hurst/Olds and 442's were all American built cars slightly modified for Canada, just like the 88 CSC. The KM/HR speedo is the biggest part to be legal here. All of them were 307 Olds HO and had the CCC, I would be highly doubtful of that car.

My car was made in Canada, I have the little maple leaf sticker on the inside of my door. Wee wee!

If I didnt see it come off same car carrier as mine when new I would have also .

That should not have been possible. Anyone remember when they ordered these cars what the engine options were? I guess that would be one rare car.

It doesn't matter where is was built, but where is was destined to go to be sold. I have a quebec car that had a ccc 307 originally.
