Here's a poor neglected one for sale in north central Oklahoma

I won't be buying it, I don't need another project, especially one that far gone.

And yeah, seller is clueless as to what it is apparently

I want a Can Am. Bad. It's the wrong time in my life right now and that looks like the wrong car but I'm talking myself out of it.

77 Can Am is a rare car. Not sure how many they made but I know they stopped production when the mold for the rear spoiler broke. Besides the condition of the body, the hood, shaker, and motor is gone and who knows what else? Looks to me like a total restoration would exceed the value of the car.

Depending on who you ask, production was between 1100 and 137x. Yep, she's a basket case for sure. Missed a nice one with the uncommon black interior early this year...sold for $22K

It must be about the only valuable A body from those years. Glad to hear someone is willing to pay for them. Nice mid 70's Cutlass are 2 grand cars here. Member 88HurstOlds has a nice with a hot 403. I assume both V8's came factory?

Damn I've seen about 10 in my life and smoked 2 of them with my cutlass salon 403, there not bad now finding one with the poncho 400 and stick is the ones to look out for
There were no manual trans cars built. You are thinking of the Anniversary TA. Those had 400s with a stick.
