You mean bezos of Amazon? That’s exactly the sort of “gatekeeper” we will all be selling thru if this happens. It’s already started, and you know who’s killing it? China and all the people dropshipping and sourcing from. Same on eBay.

Also let’s stay on topic. Healthcare and social issues don’t factor into this and we aren’t going down the politics road very far here.

Actually, my point was that state governments are looking for a money grab to subsidize their budgets destroyed by health care and the like.

But, anyhow, I've bought a bunch of stuff through Amazon through small retailers (i.e.- E code headlights from Rally Lights, etc). So, if it's so bad, how do little guys like that stay in business selling through the giant corporation?

And I’m fairly confident I will disagree with 95% of the people (and that statement) on this site and argue it until my dying day. So yeah as little politics as is needed.

...Because they have to. They get the exposure but they’re still giving a cut to Amazon for the privilege of listing there. If you pay attention when u order from the “amazon marketplace” you didn’t pay sales tax like you did if you order from “sold/fulfilled by amazon”. (If you have to at all that is). That will change. Plus amazon is competing with those same sellers and eventually will edge them out.
