Car stalls when I give it gas, ideas?

Running hot, oily, and rich I would suspect the float setting or float needle. That's another problem with the alcohol gas, it eats the plastic float. I only use brass now and knock knock no more float issues.

No, you have clean the inside of the carburetor. The top plate has to be removed and the jets need cleaned along with the needle & seat. Just spraying carburetor cleaner down the carburetor doesn't do anything. You will need fine point picks and needles to clean out the small holes inside the carburetor

I have a factory 4 barrel carb, I got it professionally rebuilt about a year and a half ago, however after I got it rebuilt it sat for a year and a half until I started driving it again 3 weeks ago.
"Well there's your problem" Look at the accelerator pump.

Accelerator pump and lazy timing...

Spraying carb cleaner into the throat and choke valve and air horn has saved me a couple times from having to rebuild my carb so it does work for me. Like i said in my first post, check the accelerator pump like everybody else has said. If it's not a new accelerator pump valve that is resistant to ethanol you need to change it with a new one.

Another vote for the accelerator pump or bad float/dirty needle & seat. There's a lot of lesser-grade parts out there that don't withstand ethanol too (accelerator pump seal for instance). The throttle shaft seals are another often ignored part by "general rebuilders". And on that note, a vacuum leak on a Q-jet will make it impossible to tune correctly.

Here's one source for Q-jet related parts. http://www.cliffshighperformance.com/acc-pump.html
They may not be as cheap as buying a complete off the shelf kit from a local jobber, but I'm a fan of spending on quality when I can.
