bought a t stat today ill put it in in the am and some radiator cleaner in case its a clog thanks for all the info.. my main worry was just that it drove at 165 for a year and overnight it now runs around 200.
X3..not running a t-stat on a street car really can lead to overheating. Without that restriction, the antifreeze spends no time in the radiator where it is actually cooled down. I have seen this on friends cars in the summer.always run one on a street car...tim
