That car would be a great platform to make a road track racer out of her. It's got the truck arms and the front suspension is awesome with that lower control arm set up....

WOW! How did you find this a coupla thou miles from where you're at?
Is the rear transmission mount attached to the floor pan? Are those torsion bars on the front control arms?

those aren't torsion bars, they are radius rods that keep the control arms from shifting forward or back... check any older ford truck or van with the twin I'beams and you'll understand the purpose.

no, those are what is called strut rods or strut arms. his lower control arm is not the "A" shape like our cars have. these are used to adjust caster angle, look closely and you'll see tie rod adjusting sleeves on them, so they can easily fine tune it. now you may ask why do it this way, well i can't answer that cuz i didn't stay in a holiday inn express last night.
