Center console install/Column shift to floor shift

I just got a console and "gate" style shifter out of a late 80's olds 98...some kinda sport edition... also got some buckets from a late 80'/early 90's olds supreme 2dr...same as from a grandprix gtp 2dr...and a steering column from a mid -to late 80's jeep cherokee, complete with the cable for the park/key release...

haven't installed yet to see if they fit or will even work...trying to get it back running first, then body,then interior...

Let me know how the Jeep Cherokee steering column turns out. They made a bunch of those and all were floor shift. I thought of that idea as well, just never tried it. I have an 84 GP w/ coulm shift. I happen to have a column from a floor shift 81 (wiper switch is absent), however it was from a wrecked car and has issues.

If the original seats in your ride are the 60-40 split bench then those seat tracks should work....If not, you'll need the tracks from the bucket car, You will also need the mounting brackets from the bucket car as well.............You could make it work though.........The consoles were all the same...hope this helps. oh ok cool...i got the full bench seat and man im so tired of not having cupholders lol im lookin in the catalogs for the new seats and all and i will probably switch them out next month or so
