I remember watching Elvis Live from Hawaii before I enlisted and had a couple 8 tracks, although being a broke-azz sailor in the mid 70's they were not a priority at the time.

Guy I know has an 8 Track player still in his truck for fun.

Many an 8 track tape string decorated the sides of roads and ditches back in the 70s as I recall.

This made me laugh...knew a few guys that cluttered their car up with 8 tracks this way.

But you can always buy more!

I never ordered 8-tracks or albums, but I ordered more than a few cd's that way to build up my collection for "just a penny/dollar". I'd look for the ones that say "And buy just one more in the next 12 months!", then I'd even get a couple fake names signed up at the same address (home and college housing)

Is that how all those guys at school was able to get their CD collections built up so fast? That explains why that guy who shared my mail box at school got all those CD's. Never knew Manuel Laborer was so smart. 😉
