And just in-case anybody is wondering why I'm so mad at the gook's right now, Remember that "Great deal" i got on that "high performance" HEI Distributor? It went bad after 2 months, on my way to PA. Gotta love those 500 dollar towing fee's. Point taken, new dist is a moroso.

Never, EVER order a single part from theese *ssh*les, they not only sell cheap Chinese junk sh*t parts, but have a 90 no return policy on all parts.

ive replaced more procomp stuff in the past few years than I can even think of. It truly is junk......if your distributor ever goes bad again like that you can get an hei at any parts store right off the shelf to get you home.

Yeah i know, i just wish i had realized what the problem was when i broke down, i figured it out once i got to PA and got my car into my friends shop.


I thought i was getting spark because it was trying to kick, but not very hard.

First the coil went bad, now it leaks vacuum, and makes this weird squealing noise when you bump the throttle.


The new moroso is on the way, I'm going to burn the procomp in the fire pit in my backyard.

I had a set of Proform rockers years ago because they were cheap. They died within 10k miles. I will not buy anything from these China only companies. Sadly there is little choice in the matter when it comes to buying Chinese made products as most "American" companies have their stuff made for them in China. Edelbrock is one of the glaring exceptions though as all their stuff is still made in the USA. That's why I won't buy a Professional Products intake. They are rip offs of Edelbrock designs made to an inferior quality standard. I would rather support the innovator than the impostor.

professional products does make some really nice stuff though. Not all of it is ripped off. I spoke to the owner at a trade show a few years back and they were heavy into R&D getting new innovative products on the market. Their new fuel injection setup although they did not invent or discover it but did fund the project for the guy who came up with it is pretty slick.

as far as intake manifolds nothing beats an edelbrock.... period for the price there is no reason to buy one from anyone else. Installed a prof product intake on a sbc for a customer and the thermostat housing bolt holes were tapped crooked and would not seat...that was an adventure.
