I need some advice for cleaning the gloss black plastic trim panels on the dash and center console of my monte ss. Previously have used some Amor All orange clean wipes but when they dry they are left with a nasty film and over time have seriously dulled and have many fine scratches in them. Have also used regular armor all with the same result as well as ammonia free window cleaner. I am replacing all of these pieces with shiny new ones but im not sure which products were doing the damage and dont want to experement on the new ones. Anyone have same issues or know a trick to keeping them as nice as new?

i use grease lighning on all my intrerior parts... but mine are stock not painted. Don't know if it would strip the paint off. (I'm assuming it's painted since you said they were gloss black)

Not painted, they are stock but they are a very shiny black and the old ones in the car have been scuffed and faded and dont look very good at all when you are up close
