hey guys, my left blinker on my cluster wasnt working, so i got bored yesterday and since i need it for a safety, i started digging in to my dash, and got the bulb out and switched it with a different bulb that worked, but now none of my dash lights light up, other than my red lights on the far right(temp, charge, brakes etc.) the little bulbs dont light up, and my right blinker won't light up anymore, can still hear it blinking, but input would be great, and im unable to get the speedo cable unhooked to get the cluster right away from the dash, helllpppp is greatly appreciated 🙂

nothing yet?, sorry to be a douche, but i need this to pass safety, any input atall would be great...

Try loosening the screws that hold the gauges to the dash and try wiggling it up-down and left-right until the lights light up, then tighten the screws. It helped me when I replaced my gauge lights. When I did mine, I had to keep wiggling it to get the blinker light to light up. The ribbon connector on the back of the cluster is finicky. I also heard you can tighten the screws on the back of the cluster to make a better connection, but I haven't tried it. Good luck.

my issue is im unable to get the speedo cable unhooked, therefore i can't see if the light is clicked into the housing properly, any tips on getting the cable unhooked?

It is much easier to unhook the cable from the cruise control module and just pull the cable through the firewall enough to work back there. I broke my speedometer trying to remove the cable from it. Good luck 8)

i don''t believe i have a cruise control modual, since i don't have the cruise 🙁, ill try the whole wiggling it around thing, but i need to get all the bulbs replaced, then ill go ahead and try getting them working again, all the bulbs to replace just for the sake of not having to do it for another few years, or ever again 😛

Should b just a clip that holds speedo in. Iirc, you just have to pull up on the clip and pull the cable out of the slot.

so i've gone through, and can't seem to get the lights working, pulled the speedo back got it unhooked, looked at everything, all looked good, checked all plugs and everything. and yet i''ve lost 1 or 2 of the red ones, my brake light isnt on anymore, my fasten belts light dosnt light up, temp dark, i know im getting power because my charge light comes on.

im going to start looking for a new cluster incase i need to get one, and if i can't get one that way, ill just go aftermarket in it for now

If you are just talking about the dash lights that come on with your headlights then break out the voltmeter and take a look are your headlight switch ( pull type ). It's a really simple system based on an armature over a coil controlling the power output to the lights. Over time the armature breaks or the coil that controls the light output tends to burn out.

the light switchworks though, so i mean im unsure of what yo0u mean, i can turn the lights on and off when needed
