I finally got my car driving again. I converted it over to a 5 Speed from an 86 Camaro. I used a chevy clutch master cylinder, a Camaro bellhousing with the mounting flange cut-off, Howe T5 Throwout bearing. I have been running this for over year. One day my son calls me and the clutch stopped working. I inspect the car and find the plastic clutch master cylinder is mangled. I figured maybe my son did something wrong? I get the car dragged home and replace the plastic clutch master cylinder again, test everything and seems to be working correctly. A few days later I check the clutch master cylinder and found it leaking at the top where the rod goes from the pedal to the cylinder. I found the firewall was flexing when the clutch was pushed it..I ordered up an adjustable McLeod racing Clutch Master Cylinder for a 1992 Camaro. This thing is sweet. I know if I install it the firewall was going to flex again. I had to fabricate a plate to mount the Brake Power Booster and the Clutch Master Cylinder..Now it is finished and it works like it was from the factory..Maybe someday I will make a template of the mounting plate. I know that sure would of helped me. If I were to do it again I would have waited for 6 Speed..
