Ok so I need everyones input.
finally decided that I'm going to convert my coulmn shift to floor shift. let's see who's done it and how? Pictures, links to videos of those that have done it. I wanna make this as quick and painless as possible.

Get a saw and a floor shifter w/cable

if your gonna do it right
you need the column console and floor shifter with the floor brackets
install the floor shifter an console
remove your tumbler from the old column and install in the new one
remove the old column shift with the deleted one
done

its really easy to do this swap, you can retain the old steering column but it will have the collar for the shifter and you may need to move the collar a little bit to get the reverse lights to work. My only other comment is to take measurements from the donor car or see if anyone on here or oldspower may have them listed.
