84 hurst, only had it a few days

windows do not roll up or down- put power directly to window motor(bypass switches) and it works perfectly
fan for the hvac does not work either
all lights works, wipers work-no radio
What I am really trying to find out, is if there is( and where) a common ground location-- without tearing into the dash before hand

Check your fuses? Could be just a dead fan motor. For the window motors, did you check the wires running through the doors? The go bad over the years of opening and closing the doors.

Fuses are all good. I did forget to mention nothing works inside. Gauges don't register at all.
I think the passenger side motor needs replacing, I applied power to motor still nothing -so that's an easy fix for that side.
So if the wires are bad from the motor & switch, back. What is a good way to replace, Is there a harness that is sold?
Or do I need to make up a completely new harness myself?

I want to drive this thing more than 10 feet, but the Georgia heat & being surrounded by glass(t-tops) is definitely no good.

Check your fuseable links. They should located down by the starter. See if you can get a hold of the proper wiring schematics they will lead you to the right wires and locations.

If the whole interior is dead. Check your fuseable links at the starter like the other poster said. The fusebox is powered by the two wires that go on the big ring terminal at the starter. Also check the wires for damage incase they got to close to the exhaust or chaffed.
