I can't disagree with this as long as the frame is in good condition. I recommend to the block because the block will not have excessive corrosion like a frame may, repat may, have.Connect everything to the frame. Don’t need a ground cable all the way to the front. But don’t ground to the body and expect it to transfer to the frame cleanly. Ground the engine to the frame and the body to the frame. My race car ran fine with the battery in the trunk. Cranked a 15:1 565 just fine.
But don't add 12 grounds (exaggeration) that include the frame, block and frame. If electronics are being used, then ground loops are a true concern.
