Has anybody made a complete dash :?: Not asking for anybody that has a custom gauge setup ... the whole dash. I want to hear some ideas and see how you did yours
What materials did you use to construct the dash :?:
What is the final covering material :?:

My dash is out of my Regal and I have decided to just make a complete custom dash, instead of trying to recover/make the old dash look good. I was thinking of framing it from like a 1/2" lightweight plywood and overlaying with fiberglass mat/resin.

I would love to see/hear any other ideas

PAPER MACHE, its the new rage, everybody is doing it man.

^^^^^^^
lol....

You might be better off taking a different dash and modifying it to fit.

Whats wrong with the dash you have? some sanding and all that might go a long way.

The original dash is all busted up and falling apart.

I have an idea of constructing a center console with the dash, all one piece

not mine. And this is more of an overlay of the existing dash but i would say fiberglass would be your best bet or find someone who can do abs molds. I know theres a guy here in town who does the abs molds.

that looks good but I'd be concerned because the dash moves around and I would think it would crack where the console joins the dash

100mph duct tape will hold it....
