Yup, its in both my 84 cutlass and my dads 87. Only works in console cars. It will work in any g-body with a console. Only came in Grand National and Regal T-type I believe.

It fits in the console just under the radio. Yes it will fit a Cutlass. I had one in my '87.

So no one answered me as to whether or not the grand nationals actually had something to hold the gauges in? Or any solutions because one of my gauges fit snug where the other is pretty loose.

Which gauges in the GN are you talking about? The dash gauges like speedo, etc.? If they're anything like the Olds gauges, they they just have studs on the back of the gauge that clip into a metal clip.

Your other option for making the gauge fit a little more snug would be to wrap it in electrical tape and then slide it into the pod.

the ones for the gauge pod, I don't know what gauges they were. I'm just trying to find a fix here

I guess I'm confused by your question. It won't matter what vehicle these gauge pods are in. If it was in a GN, they would be having the same problem you are.

Yea I'm really just fishing for ideas on a fix, but I figured maybe the gauges that gm put in the GN's had clips on them like a radio bezel does to hold them in place. I don't really know how I'm gonna secure them.
