my fu\el sending unit is shot and i dont get a acurate fuel gauge reading so im replacing it.
while looking one up ive noticed there are 2 different ones, one has this for description, -

Includes Fuel Sender, Float and Strainer (Fuel Pump Not Included); Exc. Station Wagon; w/o Evaporation Emissions Control; 2 Outlets

and the other-

Includes Fuel Sender, Float and Strainer (Fuel Pump Not Included); Exc. Station Wagon; w/ Evaporation Emission Control; 3 Outlets

im trying to pirchase the sending unit first before taking the tank down, can someone tell me which one is the correct one?
its on advaned auto's web site.

thanks.

If it is for the car in the picture neither is right that car has a carb and has the fuel pump on the block . That type of pump in your description sucks the fuel through the pump that installs at the bottom of the hanger. You will need the type that has no provisions for a in tank pump. The type you will need will have a pipe going straight into a sock.
