Is there anyone who makes vinyl dye or paint that is correct for a Dark Blue code 27 interior? If not has anyone found anything to be close? My car is a 1986, I think there was only 1 blue at that point in time.

Couldn't find it on GBodyparts. Looked through the interior products and searched for "dye" and "paint".

Any ideas? I remember seeing someone selling a "Royal Blue" or early Monte Carlo SS's but I don't remember who made the stuff and haven't been able to find anything since. The Code 27 blue is a bit different than the royal blue.

If its the same more-or-less as what I have, then you want SEM Shadow Blue. Royal is definitely too bright.

It doesn't match 100%, but you really have to try to notice the difference. The 27 sounds familiar for some reason 😀

Thanks, shadow blue does look like the color. Do you have a new photo of your interior?

Thought I did, but it looks like the closest I can give you ATM is here:
photos/thumbnails-21.html when I redid my headliner. Somewhere I've got before and after photos of the paint/dye job but they must be on the other computer... :/

You might also give these guys a call. http://www.mikesmontes.com/ I got some formy Dark Claret 86 Cutlass interior and it's a perfect match. They may be able to help you out.
