Well folks, I am on the hunt to find some rims for my cutlass. I have the s10 spindle with the corvette brakes. I am really trying to stay away from rim spacers. So what rims are you guys running with the same set-up. Pictures would help, I know I need something with a low offset close to zero with around 4.5 backspacing. It seems the trick is finding a rim that has a deep center hub that flares out away from the caliper.

i put zo6 with 13 inch rotors. no spacers. u need at least a 18 inch wheels. they say some 17" wheel may work. i didnt take that chance.wheels description: Foose Legend one-piece chrome plated custom wheels with vintage styling from Chip Foose. +1mm Offset, 4.5" Backspace. 18x8 245 45 18 tires. very, very little rubbing. http://www.wheelsforless.com

Any body else? Or is everybody else running big offsets with spacers? How bout the boss 338's?

I'm running the 338's 18in plenty of clearance only had to use a 5/16 spacer on the drivers side rear wheel. It was rubbing the plastic frame tag slightly and was to close for comfort... But the brakes all cleared great used the Shorty valvestems. Biggest hassle was having to swap out the lug nut studs as the stock ones were too short. I used 15 Doorman replacement studs and special ordered 5 from GM for the side using the spacer.... Pics are on my build thread or my photobucket link : mrgreen: btw the wheels are 18x8 front with 4.5 bs and 18x9.5 rear with 5 bs not sure of the offset will look later tires front are 245/40/18 rear 275/40/18 Nitto N55
