Couple questions

ok i got the car running it was 180 degrees off

i can get it to idle pretty good playing with the distributor but no matter if i try to advance it a little or retard it a little it back fires after you let off the gas, is it because it only has exhaust manifolds on it right now?

i bought a carb adjust tool but to me it you cant really tell a difference in idle unless you turn it alot in a direction then it just stumbles

someone got any advice on what i should do? i wanna get this beast running good so i can take it to the muffler shop, i drove her around the block but shes loud as hell lol and back fires after you pick up speed (let off gas)

i would say get your car to the shop and get exhaust work done. i know when i was running straight pipe with no mufflers mine would backfire after i let off the gas.

my brother in law help me rebuilt a motor last year and i did this swap by myself had the cops called on me twice by neighbors but **** em that aint slowin me down il be doin this sh*t for the rest of my life lol

once just for working on my car in the street (well pulling a motor in the street) and then for power washing under the hood and some water ran off into the sewer the ****in cops come and tell me people like me make them sick and this and that then just gave me a warning again lol

curse that b*st*rd next door cant wait to move never had neighbor problems till now but then again never pulled motors and sh*t lol

yah thats the law for you harassing ppl just what they get paid for. pulling motor in the street cool. i learned when i was 18 how to build a motor. did my 403 i have in my car now.

yea the driveway was full, car was in the street and i was by myself so i said **** it il just get it ready to be pulled out and a few hours later it was ready and i said **** it il just pull it out here........... bad idea lol

had some weed plants in my basement at the time and i had just smoked mad blunts next thing u know police knockin at my door and im shittin bricks in the basement pretending not to be home then i hear footsteps and run upstairs play it off like im sleeping but questioning them like did you just walk in my house and i think thats why no tickets or question the smell.
