on the gm rear axle tubes i believe are pressed in correct? if a guy has one seeping and looking damp but not leaking would it mattered if it was cleaned then welded to the center so no more leak? if a guy was carefull about it would it be at risk over warping?

also, i was thinking of aquiring some f41 suspension front braces. i was wonder if the underhood fenderwell supports to front clip(whatever it is) and the criss cross radiator supports matter at all on a street cruiser with straight line running not road rally racing or running street corners trying to roll over like a kid stole it

oh yea, another guys post a few rows down has me wondering. how much power is the stock gm u joint straps securing the D shaft to the rear end good for?

running the braces will help alot. I noticed a better launch when i installed my front and rear frame braces. it launched straighter. it wears off quick now because i cant tell difference. feels natural now than when i first installed it.

The tubes can be welded, though it's best to have a pro handle it if you're not savy with the welder...

The various bracing is a good idea. The car will feel 'tighter' and it helps cure a lot of squeaks and rattles. The bracing alone won't make it an auto-cross champion, but you will notice a difference.
