Is there a company out there that makes cowl hoods for a 87 Cutlass? I want at least 2".

VFN Fiberglass
Glasstek
Unlimited Products

Or you can have steel scoop molded onto your stock hood.

Is that what's on the car in your signature? I want to stay away from molding a scoop on. I'm going to look into the one you mentioned. Thanks

Found this on Facebook. Does anyone know what type of hood is on it?

The one in my sig is a just a steel scoop that was molded to the stock hood.

Like you, I wanted to stay away from the little ridge/molding that runs up the center on almost ALL aftermarket fiberglass cowl hoods.

Are you going with the cowl hood because of clearance issues or is it purely for looks? If you don't need it for clearance you could go with a H/O hood bulge.

At first it was for clearance but I changed my air cleaner. All for looks now.

Unlimited Products is junk, very poor fit and finish
Harwood only make pin on
Glasstek is the only fiberglass bolt-on, I really liked my 4" and they make a 2"

Your only other choice is to buy a metal cowl and weld it on.
