Craftsman Moves to Lowes

I thought Craftsman has been carried by Lowes for quite awhile now, maybe not as long as I thought. In WI they’ve had them in stores for awhile now though I’m almost certain. I don’t add too many tools anymore, replacements and the occasional specialty tool.

Yes they have had them for about 6 months now

My local Lowes has had Craftsman since last Fall or so. Most of my mechanic tools are from the 80's when I was starting to collect and build up my tool set, all good quality. I still buy Craftsman hand tools, quite a few of them have been Made in the USA. I bought a new Craftsman roll away tool chest a few years ago and am happy with it. Bought at the local independent Sears Hometown store. I updated from the my first Craftsman homeowner unit that was in good shape just not big enough for the collection I'd amassed. My only regret is not waiting a little longer for funds and buying the larger base cabinet at 48" or 54" wide. I may spring for the side hanging cabinet in the near future, that should work.

Most of my tools are Craftsman but I wanted no part of Chinesium grade. But I stumbled upon a sale and I needed a throw-away grade 3/8 drive ratchet. For $7 I figured what the heck and I bought one. I have been merciless towards it and I still haven't broken it- yet, but I'm trying.
