Hate to break it to you guys, but those cars were well over $30,000 new.
And that's in an era where a top of the line G-body like a fully loaded 442 or GN was around $20K.

Realisitcally it's worth in the $70K+ range.

Do you really think you'd have the heart to drive a 1 of 547 built GNX with only 1300 miles on it??
I don't think so.
As much as it kills me to say it, a car like that is simply too valuable to drive.

I know it was not a GSX but there was a mint Grand National with under 10,000 miles on it go for 26,000 on Barret Jackson and that was mint to the bone. So how do you figure a GSX is going to get 3 times that?

Why does a Hemi 'Cuda convertible go for 2.5 million? Easy answer: Production numbers.

The '87 Grand National you saw was one of over 20,000 built that year.
The '87 GNX was one of only 547. Simple as that.

Thanks for clearing that up so I wouldnt have to Blake. Grand Nationals were essential one the most manufactured turbo Regals you could buy in 1987. The GNX, which was a Grand National sent to ASC McClaren for modifications, had a production run of 547. Now, some of those 547 are no where to be found. These cars on a good day in a good economy can bring over 6 figures 100k+. And the differences between a GNX and a stock GN are greater than you would assume hence bringing in an even greater sense of collectibility and rarity.
