Crankcase Breather

Damn i totally forgot they make spacers......oh well, i already bought the edelbrock one and it's on the car so no going back. I like it allot, the matte black finish sets things off.

Lillbowtie i was just sayings, i like the stock ones but i do plan to swap them out. Check out this pictures

These valve covers are a friends, i just set them on for the picture. They look awesome and will be the set i switch to when i do swap the valve covers

Just a comment. The function of the PCV is to pull the fumes out of the crankcase. They are acidic, and can cause engine damage if left alone. Having a breather on one side and the PCV on the other allows for a cross flow ventilation through the crankcase. IF you have breathers on both sides, and a PCV, then the PCV will be pulling air through the closest breather, and nothing will clear the crankcase fumes. Those breather caps that have a hose connection I think are meant to connect to the Air cleaner for fresh air, not to vacuum. I may be wrong- there may be PCV valves that look like breathers. In that case, it would connect to vacuum.

Exactly right. I did my homework on the system, basically the breather filters air going in. Yeah i thought if you had a breather on the same side as the PCV it would just suck air from the closest and most available location. My setup is close to stock, PCV on left side, Breather on the right.
