Cruise stalk without wiper switch

Can I buy a cruise control stalk with out the wiper switch on It? I'm changing to a tilt column but don't want the wiper switch on the turn cruise stalk.

Are you using a later type column with wiper switch on the stalk, not on the dash... then the answer is NO.
The early type column with a cruise control stalk has the switch on the dash.

What do you have currently, please elaborate.

82 was the year they put the wipers in the stalk...81 an down of course had the wipers in the dash.

I recently sold an 80/81 stalk with cruise...I might have another I'd have to look.

I think I've seen these on ebay for about $100

My old '79 column had a cruise control stalk which only consisted of a button on the end to activate the cruise control function.

I kinda missed the part about you swapping columns....but if you are going to an 82 or newer column as far as I know you wouldn't have to use the wipers on the stalk. Change out the stalk and use the in dash wipers.

I think I've seen the odd new one posted on the web...like I say I think the last one I saw was about $112. I'd have to look at what I have but I usually sell as nice a used part as I can find. The one above was one of mine. Seems to me I do have another one...and I do have a couple of chevy tilt levers.

Technically, you can use a later type stalk/ switch with cruise and not use the wiper switch on the column. When I first changed out my Malibu column for a Monte tilt unit, I continued to use the later type wiper stalk using the dash mounted switch.
I believe you can change out the entire turn signal/ wiper switch assembly for the pre-'82 type.
I ended up converting mine to a column wiper switch when I replaced my dash with a GP unit.
but also had to replace the wiper motor for the later type.
