Jack the 78/79 did just have the button on the end for cruise...slightly different than newer ones...a bit of a carry over from the mid 70's I think...

I would like to have a new one. I hope O.D. Showtime fixes me up. It looks like new is next to impossible to find.
Ok gang, O.D. fixed me up with a stalk. Unfortunately gm uses a 3 wire and I need 4. So I bought another Rostra cruise stalk that bolts on. Any way here's the outcome.

Npdlink sells the correct year dye for it. I used it and it matched prefectly.
Not bad at all. I used that one for my cluster. It's a little lighter than the factory camel but it still blends well.
