I really like the wheels on the car and so I did this photoshop:

I really like that "retro-look" with the 15" Rally wheels and I think they also would fit my "retro-theme" on the monte (with my 1959 Impala dashboard & steering wheel and everything)...

what do you guys think?

Kev. i know this is kind of an odd question but... Are those some older Metabo Grinders your using...??

Looking good, I've been following your progress on PT as well. I picked up a G-body to work on while waiting for the machine work to get done for my other project. I guess one project just was'nt enough, lol

just wondering if you got any more progress done

thx guys!

no progress yet - it's still cold and winter over here in Germany. I really can't wait to get back working on the monte!!

I just looked around for some nice retro gauges and came to this:

classicinstruments_com.jpg

If I'll get this I'll get a KPH instead MPH speedo custom made by classicinstruments.

and well, I found some classic hot rodding looking rims - Eagle Alloy 225. They come in 18x8 (fronts) and 18x10 (rear).

and so I did a new photoshop again 🙂

those wheels look nice on there

Damn that photoshop pic looks awesome!

I like those guages but I would rather have the speedo and tach swapped. Ya know big tach, small speedo.
