Where do you place a cup holder that you cann hide during a show? I got tired of puting my drinking cup on my lap while driving , so I made a insert panel that fits in the counsel and holds my mug. Made from scrap 3/4in plywood cut to fit the inside of the opening with hole the size of the mug and covered with materiel. Will not fall in all the way since the box is somewhat narrower towards the bottom and hold the panel in place.

Not bad. I like it. I would want an insert from another vehicle to hold in moisture from a sweating cup.

I would love a cup holder. Actually, my wife would love a cup holder. I don't have a console. Or an armrest for that matter.

A friend gave me this one that wedges between passenger seat and center console...it works great, pulls right out of you need. Only thing it does limit the console glove box door from opening fully but you can still get hand in there. I believe he got it off Amazon iirc.

Could you put something on a hinge attached on the inside of the console and flip it in & out of the front so the cup would rest just behind the shifter?
