Ok so I went out on a limb and designed a custom dash gauge cluster to fit into the original dash. I removed the section that sticks out towards the steering wheel there and decided to go with a flat dash all the way. My buddy that works for MWR made the aluminum plate for me and we fit it into the dash tonight. This is what it looks like right now

The plate will eventually be painted the same color as the exterior of the car and the dash is getting painted black. The car is getting painted the KIA color Alien Green (paint code is I7, just had it mixed tonight)

Let me know what you think

Thanks

They are all Autometer Sport-Comp gauges. I have little 1/2" green lights for the turn signal indicators and in the center a 1/2" blue light for the bright indicator

I would like to clean up the steering column and put a wiper switch and turn signal switch somewhere on the dash. Also install a push button starter and center shifter as well

Well I finally got some time and painted my dash plate and installed it and painted the dash black

I like it, very clean and super cool! Just not my color though, I understand it's the same color as the exterior, but I would have just done it in black, maybe a flat or semi-gloss/satin.

what was the total cost to do it
I think I have about $350 into the gauges. The little indicator lights were like $3 a piece and the plate was made by my friend that works for Micheal Waltrip Racing so it cost me a 12pk of Bud Light

Then just the cost of wiring needs

what would it cost for you to make me a plate like this .....hit me up if your interested
