custom gauge panel

Well.... since the factory idiot gauges dont work I'm thinking that upgrading the gauges are my first priority. I was wondering what others have done and would like to see some pics. I'm thinking a black CF panel with autometer gauges......
Would like to convert the right side of the dash where the warning light are to a CF panel too with 2 gauges in it. Does anyone know of any aftermarket speedos that are in KPH?

Was just playing around on the Autometer web site and they make metric gauges so my prayers are answered. Once I get digging into it I'm thinking of using a sheet of CF to make the panel. A 5" speedo in center if it will fit and 2 gauges either side stacked. Green LED for signals, and a blue LED for highbeams. Thinking oil pressure, water temp, voltage, trans temp, and fuel pressure should just about do it. Then mount a monster tach on dash.

I'm working on finishing up a 2D CAD drawing based on this one....I think I found it while searching online, not sure where it came from...I'm planning on the same layout...i'll post it once I have it all done and the panel machined & finished (my first ever attempt at doing anything of that sort...why I'm waiting until I get it done to share, so it's not a complete failure....hopefully within the next month or so, not sure how much that'll help you though... :? ) Got a buddy who runs a machine ship, I'm planning on having his shop do mine. Autometer has several speedos that are available in KPH...

Nice setup and I'm looking forward to your update...I'm hoping someone will make a decent setup and be willing to make and sell a few to us members...Of course w/o the several hundred dollar tag from classic dash .com...I mean the template....

Hey if we can convince 85Frank to send me the DFX file I be willin to pop them out just got pink slip from driving and I was machinist for 8+years have full access to a machine shop (stepfather owns it) I know he's a bit slow so I can do projects on the side ... price be material n shipping... hows that sound... 8)
