Welcome, first of all.
Second, I don't know exactly what to tell you, since I haven't done this job before, but I do know the wiring harness plugs in down on the left (driver side) of the firewall inside, and connects to the harness thru it, to the outside.
Someone with more experience WILL chime in, as there are many knowledgable, helpful people here.

You need to remove a 7mm screw on the engine bay side of the fuse block wiring harness as well as two small screws from the inside that hold the fuse block to the firewall.

Once all that is removed the wiring harness will be free except for a few possible grounds here or there. Not really difficult. I've had mine in and out about a dozen times.

The biggest thing to watch out for is cracking the dash. The foam gets pretty brittle after being in the sun for so many years.
