So I went over and checked out my body and it looks pretty good. He's got my floor pan mocked up into position. There really weren't any surprises under the paint I didn't count on.

So its decision time. Do I just have the underside of the car painted or do I do some sort of Bedliner under it. I don't on ever driving it in snowy conditions ever. I think the Bedliner will add some sound deadening and durability against road conditions. Let me know what you think.

I think you should should go with Berliner because even though you won't be driving it in the snow it will still help your car to last much much longer. Make whatever choice you want, its your car.

Great job on your car!!! Would love to do this to mine. I would go with the paint, even though you wouldnt be driving it in the snow. I would love ta have your 8.5 rear though, been looking for one for a while. Really hard to find one though. Great job again!

I just really don't know what I want. I was leaning just to keeping all the undercarriage gloss black. As far as the body color goes, I haven't even settled on what color i'm going with. I wanted to keep it an original gm color, like the 81 jadestone metallic green. If not that color maybe some sort of gun metal grey or platinum color, not sure.

So it was a big day yesterday. I finally got the ambition to get my 403 running. I have been waiting a while and couldn't wait any more. I have been trying to clean up my core support after the sandblaster warped the top all up but finally gave up. I had/have a spare and that is getting blasted by a different guy that is more used to body panels. So I just mocked up the crappy one so I could run it.
