How much does a valve job cost? I saw on ebay some place is selling remanufactured heads for my engine for $99. I'm almost tempted to just put a new set of heads on it and not worry with messing with it.

I believe I paid around $3-350 for a valve job, new guides, and cleaning. Are those heads $99 a piece? If so, I would just have a local machine shop do it and probably end up with more quality. With shipping being added on, I think it wouldn't be much more money to do it that way.

Yes, $99 a piece pluy about $40 shipping a piece so it would run around $280 for the set. $300-$350 to have a local guy do it doesn't sound bad. I go pick up my exhaust manifold that is being resurfaced in a day or two and I'll ask the shop what they think. Thanks for the input.
