cant believe i missed this thread! great job! you just cut the frame and boxed it back in, kinda scared to do mine, but i need to for now until i can back half it

Yep I cut the frame and boxed it back in with 1/4 inch plate our frame is only 3/16 so that helped and there is a nice write up on how to do it somewhere it was actually pretty easy did all the hard work 1 day and did the clean up another day.

Rear with spoiler shaved trunk lock 81 lights and glass back bumper

Front end 81 header with shaved emblem and glass front bumper

Quick preview will go lower once I burn these tires off and go 295 25 its 295 30 right now

Put a 10" tv where my hvac and radio used to go and put a double din up in the old vent hole Where you can actually see it and the road lol

Wet sanded and ready for paint the doors had key locks and old mirror holes welded up and 87 mirror hole drilled.

Does your prime shine lol cant wait for the paint to go on

Man dnt knot how i missed this thread. You building a beast. The malibu is my favorite Gbody and yours is coming out great. i love seeing malibu builds done the right way. Great work ma boy keep it up

Thanks.Aye Im looking at your combo I had the whole grand national drivetrain and sold the intercooled motor and trans. Ws gonna put it in my malibu but went the hot sbc route until I do a ls swap.

Got sprayed yesterday but still gotta a long ways to go on paint. Gotta cut it airbrush, silver leaf, pinstripe and reclear over all of that. This my last g body so I gotta go out with a bang. oh yeah and picked up an 87 turbo 6 to throw in it.
