Dark Brown Interior, what a pain!

Does anyone know where i can get seat covers and door panels for a Grand Prix? Everything i can find reproduced is Mali, MC, or Cutlass. Also does anyone make the proper color brown dye for these cars? I think it is called dark briar brown. It is for an 83 GP LJ.

I'm in the same boat as you

The only luck I've had is on Ebay, I found two door panels a while ago.
Gbody parts.com has correct interior color but not in brown.
I'd say your best bet is to call up nearby junkyards and watch ebay.

Somebody else should chime in with a better answer than me :shock:

Krylon makes a pretty snazy paint for interiors i painted my console black from red 3 years ago:still holding i think its like $7 a can,don't know if you can get the color you need tho.

From what I have read, dark briar brown was only available for two years.
The downside is part/cloth availability.
The upside is that you have something not many others have.
Try looking in Craigslist, Kijiji, Pennysaver,etc or Marque specific forums online (ie www.Oldspower.com).
My '83 Cutlass has the dark brown interior.
My drivers bucket seat had a huge rip.I found a pair of factory bucket seat cloth covers for around $50.The guy had them off the seat frames already.
They are 1000% better than my old ones.However, I kept the old ones in case I ever need to make a repair.
